Presenting Parental Leave Prep: Group Coaching for Expecting Parents
Virtual cohort-based program kicks off September 25
Phew, just like that, July is gone! It’s been a bit longer than planned since my last newsletter, mostly because I’ve been cooking up something exciting that I’d love to share with you for your support. ❤️ Read more below!
Exciting Announcement!
This September, fellow coach and working mom Lee Boole and I are launching Parental Leave Prep: Group Coaching for Expecting Parents, a virtual cohort-based program designed to equip, empower, and build a supportive community among professionals preparing to take parental leave.
Parental leave deserves a massive amount of care, but more often than not, expecting parents and their employers are not adequately set up to handle it well. Meanwhile, the stakes are high, both for the individual undergoing a huge professional/life transition and their team suddenly down a key player. Parental Leave Prep (PLP) provides the structure, support, and resources to confidently and smoothly navigate the transition.
If you’re expecting, or know someone who is (friend, family member, colleague), we hope you’ll check us out or spread the word. Or feel free to share with your HR business partner, or parent/caregiver ERG at work. Many thanks!!
Program Details
A coach-led cohort that prepares expecting professionals for their upcoming parental leave, providing them with tools, resources, and community to confidently and smoothly navigate the transition.
Through a mix of education and resources (40%) and facilitated discussion (60%), participants will be:
Prepared with tools and resources to ease the transition into parental leave
Equipped to transition work effectively/hand off responsibilities
Empowered to manage their careers before, during, and after leave
Supported during this huge life transition
Who It’s For
This program is for all kinds of expecting, working parents. This particular cohort will support folks due in Q1, 2025 to ensure participants are at a similar planning stage.
Why Group Coaching?
Individual coaching is wonderful, but group coaching allows participants to make progress on their own terms while also benefiting from others’ experiences, insights, and support. An added bonus: it tends to be more cost-effective than traditional one-on-one coaching.
Logistics
Our inaugural cohort kicks off September 25 and runs 11 weeks through December 4, meeting every other Wednesday at 1pm ET
The program includes 6 hour-long group sessions, 1 one-on-one coaching session with Lee or Nicole, and a suite of tools and resources to aid in the process
To celebrate the launch we’re significantly discounting the cost from $1,299 to $499 (Code: COHORT1 at checkout)
Cohort size is limited to no more than 15 participants, so while there isn’t a hard deadline to enroll prior to kickoff, the sooner the better to ensure a spot
